Microsoft and Asus reveal the Xbox Ally & Xbox Ally X handhelds
Microsoft and Asus have teamed up to launch two new handheld gaming PCs—the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X—powered by custom AMD APUs and featuring 7" 1080p 120Hz displays. These devices will also be the first to debut Microsoft's long-awaited handheld interface for Windows, offering seamless integration with Game Pass, Steam, and more.

GPD teases new mini laptop
GPD have teased a new mini laptop on X. Famously known for their Win Mini and Win Max laptop/gaming hybrids, it looks like GPD are entering the game again with a small form-factor device, with some speculating a 6” screen.

Retroid’s dual-screen add-on costs just $69, works with multiple devices, pre-orders start today!
Retroid’s previously announced dual-screen add-on for the Retroid Pocket 5 has been given a modest price of $69 before shipping. This is a pleasantly low cost for a 5.5” OLED display. The accessory goes up for pre-order on June 9th (today!) and has a full spec list available on the official website. Two variants are available in multiple colourways.
Anbernic RG Slide is thinner than expected, gets a tentative spec list
New photos and videos of the Anbernic RG Slide have revealed a slimmer-than-expected profile and a speculative spec sheet. Official embargos for the RG Slide specs are lifted on June 13th according to Retro Handhelds, but for now, rumours say it’ll be powered by the Unisoc T820- the same as the RG556, RG406M and RG Cube.

MagicX Zero 40 launches June 17th
The vertical screen Zero 40 handheld launches on June 17th. Seemingly targeted towards DS emulation, this odd-looking tall-screen handheld comes from the quickly growing handheld manufacturer MagicX.
Switch 2 sells 3 million units in 24 hours
Nintendo’s new Switch 2 sold over 3 million units in its first 24 hours, outperforming the original Switch’s launch period (2.74 million units in its first month) by a significant margin. Nintendo of America’s Doug Bowser confirmed the strong initial supply and hinted that the company expects demand to continue through Father’s Day into the holiday season.
