GDP shows MicroPC 2 in action 

GPD has shared the first hands-on video of the impressively compact portable MicroPC 2 computer. It features a 7-inch display, an Intel N250 processor, and 16GB of LPDDR5-4800 RAM. It is designed to be a lighter alternative to the GPD Pocket 4.

SEGA is giving away nine free games on Android… get them before they’re delisted!

Sega has made nine of their classic “SEGA Forever” titles free on Android before they’re due to be delisted. This includes Streets of Rage, Crazy Taxi, and more modern titles like Sonic 4 Episode II and my personal favorite, Virtua Tennis Challenge. Rest in peace to the greatest Android tennis game ever made!

Nintendo is banning MiG Switch consoles

Kotaku reports that Nintendo has begun banning Switch 2 consoles that use the MiG Switch flash cartridge, which allows loading of both legally backed-up and pirated OG Switch games. Despite a recent firmware update making the MiG Switch compatible with Switch 2, Nintendo’s swift action restricts online services for affected consoles, though accounts remain safe for now.

Nintendo announces Donkey Kong Bananza Direct

The big N has announced a Nintendo Direct on June 18, 2025, featuring a 15-minute presentation focused on Donkey Kong Bonanza. The broadcast, announced via the Nintendo Today app, will provide detailed gameplay insights and is expected to highlight the game’s development by the team behind Super Mario Odyssey.

No, ZPG isn’t making a dual-screen slider

Retro Handhelds revealed a leak of a new dual-screen slider from ZPG, which unfortunately turned out to be a hoax. The actual device, as revealed by The Phawx, was a vaporware device from a company named “PGS”.
