Taki Udon teases a 6” Switch Lite mod
YouTuber and R2 founder Taki Udon has shared plans for a 6”, 1440p screen mod for the Nintendo Switch Lite. He plans to make a prototype after the SUPER5 OLED models are in full production.
When I made the SUPER5 roadmap last year, I outlined a plan for a Super Switch Lite. It would have a 6” 1440p screen, 6,000 mAh battery, hall joysticks, and improved audio. All as a PCB swap.
After all the SUPER5 products are in mass production, I plan to make an SSL prototype.

TrimUI Brick Hammer is an actual metal version of the TrimUI Brick
Yesterday I incorrectly reported that reseller MechDIY had begun offering DIY metal shells for the popular TrimUI Brick handheld. Turns out the metal-shelled TrimUI Brick is an actual device, not a mod, it’s called the TrimUI Brick Hammer and it’s up for preorder right now!
NetherSX 2 PS2 Emulator app gets updated
RetroGameCorps shared on X that the popular (read: only) PS2 emulator for Android has gotten an update, which adds new touch controls and patches.
New updates to PS2 emulator NetherSX2 v3668 ("classic") and v4248 ("patch") apps are out -- they include a new touch controls and widescreen/interlacing patches. These releases include the APKs for easy installation:

FlyDigi announces Apex 5 Elite controller
Chinese manufacturer of premium 3rd party controllers, FlyDigi, have announced their next flagship, the Apex 5 Elite. Including a new style of D-Pad and redesigned force feedback triggers, the controller is available in a white standard edition, red Evangelion Asuka edition, and a Honkai Star Rail edition. The controllers are up for preorder on MiniXPC.
